Calvin, Giordano &Associates (CGA) completed the design for the <br /> sanitary sewer collection system, which currently serves Oleta State Recreational Area <br /> 0 (Park), Florida International University (FIU) East, Florida International University <br /> • (FIU) West, Guard Station, and the Fish and Wildlife Commission. <br /> O The City of North Miami originally constructed the wastewater transmission system to <br /> 0 serve a larger complex and consisted of a network of gravity sewers, large force mains <br /> 0 and five pump stations. Deterioration of the oversized lines over the years prompted the <br /> City to eliminate many of the manholes and gravity lines that served as points of <br /> ® <br /> infiltration.
