As par; of the project, extensive drainage improvements <br /> Completion: 2005 were required to help improve stormwaier management in this <br /> • Cost: $2 Million flood-prone low-lying residential area. <br /> • <br /> • 3&A's Civil Engineering teem designed a new drainage system <br /> • consisting of interconnected exfiliration trenches end deep injection <br /> • wells and carefully integrated the new system with the surrounding <br /> existing drainage systems to help alleviate flooding. To improve <br /> • aesthetics and functionality, the Engineering Team redesigned <br /> • the existing sidewalks and pedestrian crosswalks and reconfigured <br /> • locations of on-street parking throughout the neighborhood to allow <br /> • for streetscape improvements such as new landscaping,curb and <br /> gutters. B&A managed permitting activities for this project through <br /> • local County and City government public works. water and sewer <br /> • management and environmental authorities. 26 <br /> • <br />
