(B&A) was awarded a contract to <br /> • Homestead, Florida provide the planning. landscape architectural and architectural <br /> • designs necessary to renovate and revitalize this 4.73 acre park <br /> • Client: City of Homestead located in Homestead, Florida. The existing park was underutilized <br /> Parks and Recreation Department and in a deteriorated state, offering no special features except a <br /> • Size: 4.73 Acres small playground with outdated equipment and landscaping that <br /> • Cost: $3 Million was in total disrepair. <br /> ® In order to breathe new life into this community park, our designers <br /> developed a master plan that included the addition of two secured <br /> • dog parks with specialty canine exercise equipment" a children's <br /> • interactive water feature with an adjacent restroom facility, a <br /> • playground area utilizing both existing and new playground <br /> equipment" a 20 station state-of-the-art exercise system for various <br /> • age groups, open play and picnic areas with shelters, a peripheral <br /> • on street parking layout,extensive landscaping and both decorative <br /> • and security lighting throughout the park.
