ECT's individual permitting efforts in Florida include more than 75 major dredge/fill per-
' mits (under old dredge/fill guidelines), 25 stormwater permits (under old MSSW (management and stor-
age of surface water) guidelines), and numerous environmental resource permits. ECT's expertise in
environmental resource permitting and related regulatory programs is unparalleled in the State of Flori-
da. As an illustration of our experience, ECT personnel have at various times provided ERP program
implementation support under contract to all five water management districts across the State, helping
the Districts to implement both the engineering and ecological aspects of these programs.
4.4 TIMELINES AND BUDGET
ECT is committed to meeting the schedule and budget requirements for the City's Civil/Environmental
Engineering services contract. Our team has gained a wealth of relevant experience completing similar
projects on-time and within budget. The City will clearly benefit by selecting a team familiar with these
processes. We understand how to begin critical procedures early to insure compliance to all required
deadlines. The ECT team will complete Civil/Environmental Engineering services within the budget for
each task order. It would take 1 week to implement service after the issuance of the"Notice to Proceed"
from the City.
In addition, the ECT Team already established principal-in-charge with both project manager and assis-
tant project manager for this project, ensuring that all necessary resources are provided to the City on
time. Meeting the desired schedule will depend largely on close cooperation and timely exchange of
information between the ECT Team and City staff. Decisiveness and the ability to schedule meetings
' quickly with all necessary project team members present will be one of the keys to assuring this suc-
cess.
When the schedule begins to slip affecting the deliverable of a work product, whether the result
of ECT or City project team member, our firm will take full responsibility to quickly and respon-
sibly resolve the issue; even if it hurts the bottom line. Your budget and schedule is critical to
project success and our reputation to serve is paramount/
1
EmdmunMral 39
Tedznology,bra
