JING-YEA (PAUL) YANG, Ph.D., P.E.
O . Page 3
using a 166-acre site adjacent to the City's existing water treatment plant for
construction of an off-line storage reservoir.
Project Manager; Baseline Data QA/QC, Lee County—Provided the base-
line of QA/QC of stage and groundwater time series data that are used in sup-
port of the County's reporting and comprehensive planning process. QA/QC
included analysis of the data through performance of statistical analyses, ap-
plication of statistical modeling tools, and filling missing data. A database that
contains an extensive network including IS rainfall gauging stations. 7 surface
water stage stations and 162 groundwater monitoring wells was provided and
reformatted in this study.
Principal Engineer; State Road 7 PD&E Study, Florida Department of
Transportation, District 4—Directed surface and groundwater modeling for
multiple corridors over a 9-square-mile area in Royal Palm Beach. Florida.
Provided a complex environmental impact statement according to National
Environmental Policy Act and Florida regulations.
Principal Engineer; Racquet Club/Mackle Park/Tracts, City of Marco Is-
land—Responsible for the planning and design of a new multi-use (pedestrian
and bicycle) pathway in Marco Island, Florida. Services performed for the
project included drainage design in compliance with the environmental re-
sources permitting requirements.
Project Manager; Water Reclamation Permit Review,Florida Department
of Environmental Protection (FDEP)—Managed and provided services as-
sociated with feasibility study (FS) on reclaimed water for augmentation of
water supplies and enhancement of natural systems in the Lower East Coast
Water Supply Planning Area in West Palm Beach. Florida. Submitted a sum-
mary report outlining issues and concerns with the modeling assumptions.
model calibration, simulation results and interpretation of the results that could
affect the outcome of the FS. Served as an engineering support contractor for
FDEP.
Project Manager; Hydrological and Modeling Data QA/QC for STAs and
Legally Mandated Sites, SFWMD—Managed. directed and performed
QA/QC of hydrologic data series used in support of the SFWMD's modeling.
reporting. and regulatory programs. Performed hydrologic mass balance anal-
yses and temporal and spatial statistical analyses of hydrometeorologic data.
evaluated hydrometeorologic parameter measurements, filled missing data, and
' resolved complex hydrometeorologic and hydraulic problems. Completed hy-
drometerologic data QA/QC for the District that legally mandated sites and
modeling data, including 73 stations and structures.
' Principal Engineer; Catfish Creek H&H, SFWMD—Conducted a H&H
modeling study to assess the feasibility and impact of creating a 1.670-acre
impoundment on the acquired Rolling Meadows Ranch using USACE's
HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS models.
Project Manager; Statistical Analysis of Water Quality and Seagrass
Monitoring in Caloosahatchee and St. Lucie Estuaries, SFWMD—Power
analysis was used to determine how long it would take for existing monitoring
programs to detect a real change in environmental condition for 10 water quality
parameters and seagrass.
Project Manager; Environmental Engineering Support,
SFWMD—Managed and supported the preparation of the project implemen-
EnvIrcsinentel EV
cin s scMo gr. f
