' `' :` ►�T1 Civil/Environmental Engineering RFQ#12-04-02 D 2.0 QUALIFICATIONS Benefits to the City resulting from the selection of the ECT team to meet its civil/environmental consult- ing service needs for this solicitation include: IUI • ECT project management office located approximately 22 miles, or less than 30 minutes, 0 • from City office. Extensive knowledge and project experience throughout Broward County and South Flor- ida, including past experience with FDEP, SFWMD, and local municipalities. • Full range of environmental (scientific and engineering), planning, and management con- sulting services. • Knowledgeable and experienced in the majority of the areas specified in general scope of D services, including drainage system design, force main analysis, stormwater manage- ment, and additional potential services of conceptual design, contract drawing and speci- fication; scheduling for design and construction; costing; construction support; water dis- tribution, sanitary sewer, and stormwater master planning and design; compliance report- ing; requests for additional information responses; grant writing and applications; air quali- ty; asbestos; Phase I/II ESAs; contamination assessment/remediation; monitoring; model- ing; ecology; wetland delineations; and environmental sampling (e.g., soil/groundwater). • Commitment to the highest quality in all services. • Experienced and effective project management to meet project budgets and schedules. • Cost-effective services through sound business practices. • An experienced staff, with Florida-registered professional engineers (P.E.$), geologists (P.G.$), and asbestos personnel thoroughly familiar with federal, state, and local require- ments. ECT also has LEED-certified personnel. • ECT complies with the FDEP standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality assur- ance (QA) (FDEP-SOP-001/01), and can provide a copy of our QA manual for review, if requested • An established corporate health and safety program. ' • Responsiveness from a staff that is readily available upon short notice for meetings, site inspection, or emergency response. • Established working relationships with regulatory and governmental agencies including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), FDEP, SFWMD, and many of the local county and municipal agencies. • Proven record of success. ECT's initiative toward its own sustainable business practices that demonstrate a commitment to con- servation includes the collection and recycling of paper, plastic, and aluminum cans; and the recycling of toner cartridges from our numerous printers.
