' `' :` <br /> ►�T1 Civil/Environmental Engineering <br /> RFQ#12-04-02 <br /> D 2.0 QUALIFICATIONS <br /> Benefits to the City resulting from the selection of the ECT team to meet its civil/environmental consult- <br /> ing service needs for this solicitation include: <br /> IUI • ECT project management office located approximately 22 miles, or less than 30 minutes, <br /> 0 <br /> • from City office. <br /> Extensive knowledge and project experience throughout Broward County and South Flor- <br /> ida, including past experience with FDEP, SFWMD, and local municipalities. <br /> • Full range of environmental (scientific and engineering), planning, and management con- <br /> sulting services. <br /> • Knowledgeable and experienced in the majority of the areas specified in general scope of <br /> D services, including drainage system design, force main analysis, stormwater manage- <br /> ment, and additional potential services of conceptual design, contract drawing and speci- <br /> fication; scheduling for design and construction; costing; construction support; water dis- <br /> tribution, sanitary sewer, and stormwater master planning and design; compliance report- <br /> ing; requests for additional information responses; grant writing and applications; air quali- <br /> ty; asbestos; Phase I/II ESAs; contamination assessment/remediation; monitoring; model- <br /> ing; ecology; wetland delineations; and environmental sampling (e.g., soil/groundwater). <br /> • Commitment to the highest quality in all services. <br /> • Experienced and effective project management to meet project budgets and schedules. <br /> • Cost-effective services through sound business practices. <br /> • An experienced staff, with Florida-registered professional engineers (P.E.$), geologists <br /> (P.G.$), and asbestos personnel thoroughly familiar with federal, state, and local require- <br /> ments. ECT also has LEED-certified personnel. <br /> • ECT complies with the FDEP standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality assur- <br /> ance (QA) (FDEP-SOP-001/01), and can provide a copy of our QA manual for review, if <br /> requested <br /> • An established corporate health and safety program. <br /> ' • Responsiveness from a staff that is readily available upon short notice for meetings, site <br /> inspection, or emergency response. <br /> • Established working relationships with regulatory and governmental agencies including <br /> the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), FDEP, SFWMD, and many of the local <br /> county and municipal agencies. <br /> • Proven record of success. <br /> ECT's initiative toward its own sustainable business practices that demonstrate a commitment to con- <br /> servation includes the collection and recycling of paper, plastic, and aluminum cans; and the recycling <br /> of toner cartridges from our numerous printers. <br /> I <br /> 1 <br /> ' / A 4 <br /> L , Technology.Inc. <br />
