<br /> ARSENIC GROUNDWATER PLUME ATA FORMER GOLF COURSE, BROWARD
<br /> COUNTY, FL: Mr.Abbott oversees the groundwater monitoring of an arsenic groundwater
<br /> plume of arsenic at a former golf course in Pompano Beach, Florida. Mr. Abbott performs
<br /> groundwater sampling,developed a remedial alternatives analysis to evaluate cleanup options,
<br /> and is currently coordinating site closure under institutional controls. (2004 to 201 1)
<br /> CLIMATE CHANGE ASSESSMENT OF AIRPORTS, FORT LAUDERDALE AND ,,.
<br /> PEMBROKE PINES, FL: Mr. Abbott prepared an assessment of potential effects of
<br /> climate change on environmental conditions at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International
<br /> Airport and the North Perry Airport. The report evaluated potential effects of sea level
<br /> rise on wetlands, water quality, flooding, storage tanks, contaminated sites, and salinity in
<br /> irrigation wells. Mr.Abbott also evaluated potential changes in the number of bird strikes by
