C�ttg of Ateanti <br /> PEDRO G.HERNANDEZ,P.E. <br /> City Manager <br /> Coastal System International has been under contract with the City of Miami for Miscellaneous <br /> Coastal/Marine engineering projects since 2004. As part of this task-based contract, Coastal <br /> ® Systems completed the engineering design, environmental permitting and construction <br /> administration services for the Dinner Key Managed Mooring Field located offshore of Dinner <br /> Key Marina in Coconut Grove. This is a mooring facility for 225 vessels, with mooring anchors <br /> in the sensitive marine environment of Biscayne Bay. <br /> Coastal Systems provided hydrographic surveying, marine resource (seagrass) mapping, <br /> engineering design, environmental permitting (including Miami-Dade DERM), and assisted the <br /> City with bidding and contract award as well as construction administration. The total cost of <br /> construction for the project was approximately $600,000, and the project was completed ahead <br /> of schedule. <br /> The professional services provided by Coastal Systems International were completed with an <br /> above satisfactory manner of workmanship.
