Coastal Systems completed the engineering design, environmental permitting and construction administration services for the Bayfront Steetends Project located along Biscayne Bay in the City of Miami Beach. Coastal Systems designed and secured environmental permits for streetend waterfront improvements at four (4) locations: 1) Island View Park, 2) South Shore Drive, 3) 10th Street and 4) Lincoln Road. Each streetend consists of bulkhead replacement, streetscape improvements (paving, grading, lighting and landscaping), and stormwater management improvements. The ® scope of services included hydrographic surveys, marine resource (seagrass) mapping, engineering design, environmental permitting (including Miami-Dade DERM), and assistance to the City with bidding and contract award as well as construction administration. The total cost of construction for the Island View Park Project was approximately $350,487, the Lincoln Road Project was approximately $633,822, and 101° Street is scheduled for construction in Mach 2012 with a budget of$945,640. The level of professional services and workmanship provided by Coastal Systems Intemational met all expectations and displayed a high level of professionalism.
