<br /> Victor Herrera, PE South Pointe Park Pier Project, City of Miami Beach, Miami Beach, FL.As lead
<br /> Team Project Manager and civil engineer, Mr. Herrera is responsible for management of internal design groups and
<br /> Project Programming subconsultants in the development of a new design for South Pointe Park Pier. In addition
<br /> I to managing the design team, Mr. Herrera is responsible for client coordination as well as
<br /> overseeing the permitting efforts with multiple agencies. The project is currently under design,
<br /> and construction is anticipated to start in the fall of 2012.
<br /> ® Life Science Park, Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Partnership, University of Miami, Miami,
<br /> ® FL. Mr. Herrera is the project manager responsible for civil engineering design for site layout,
<br /> utilities, stormwater management, and permitting of a LEED-rated, 210,000-sf medical research
<br /> facility and office development.Atkins also provided construction services.
<br /> Plan Review, City of Miami Springs, Miami Springs, FL. Mr. Herrera is responsible for the
<br /> review of all plans submitted for development to the City of Miami Springs including reviewing
<br /> architectural and civil engineering plans to verify compliance with local and state requirements.
<br /> Publix Supermarkets Stores Nos., 1345, 1311, and 1302, South FL.Atkins provided civil
<br /> engineering for three stores purchased by Publix from Albertson's. Publix gutted the stores
<br /> and started all layouts, design and systems from scratch within the existing shell structures.
<br /> The buildings were designed for 3 different southern Florida municipalities and involved
<br /> .11
<br /> extensive permitting and zoning, as well as intensive coordination with Publix engineers and
<br /> brand managers. As lead civil engineer, Mr. Herrera was responsible for the site layout, utility
<br /> coordination, and permitting with local agencies.
<br /> Miller Circle Roundabout, University of Miami, Miami, FL. Mr. Herrera serves as the
<br /> project engineer for a 4-leg, 2-lane traffic circle/roundabout. His responsibilities include
<br /> coordinating with the Department of Environmental Resources Management(DERM), Miami
<br /> Dade County Public Works, and other permitting agencies.
<br /> Snyder Tennis Center, City of North Miami Beach, Miami Beach, FL. Mr. Herrera serves as
<br /> the engineer-of-record for a 10-acre park improvement project. The project consists of parking
<br /> lot design, stormwater management, and water/sewer design.
<br /> Force Main Rehabilitation, City of Tallahassee, Tallahassee, FL. Mr. Herrera served as
<br /> resident engineer for a $9 million project for the water resource engineering group. The project
<br /> consisted of pipe bursting 8,740 linear feet of 36-inch HDPE pipe through existing Hobas pipe,
<br /> beneath Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)roadway. His responsibilities included
<br /> reviewing consultant drawings; reviewing consultant specifications and verifying compliance
<br /> with the City's standard specifications; processing all contract administration paperwork
<br /> (invoices, change orders, etc.); construction oversight; and scheduling.
