The project was a waterfront urban redevelopment for a six-square-block area <br /> along Gulfview Boulevard adjacent to Clearwater Beach. The ambitious plan called for <br /> the realignment of Gulfview Boulevard to provide for a pedestrian friendly environment. <br /> This included a curvilinear promenade, ample seating areas, plaza spaces, a hike/bike <br /> trail, public art and lush landscaping. PBS&J was also instrumental in leading a series of <br /> public workshops and design charettes as well as working closely with City staff during <br /> the planning and construction-phases of the project. <br /> The City of Clearwater was pleased with the performance of PBS&J.
