This <br /> ' included structural engineering analysis and design of the main beam of the theatre <br /> which were to act as support for heavy AV equipment. <br /> I <br /> PROJECT: Renovations for the Supervisor of Elections Facilities <br /> ' CONTACT: Susan Goldstein <br /> Expansion Project Administrator <br /> tBroward County Public Works Dept. <br /> 954-357-8060 <br /> DESCRIPTION: Mr. Batista and Broward County collaborated in providing the Supervisor of <br /> Elections with proposals for floor plans for 100,000 sf of new offices and warehouse <br /> facilities. This proposal included a LEED study and structural inspection and <br /> ' analysis of the existing building to determine the constructability in converting the <br /> building into a Category Ill structure as per ASCE standards. <br /> t <br /> PROJECT: Broward Trust for Historic Preservation <br /> ' CONTACT: Warren Adams, Principal <br /> 954-522-1606 <br /> ' DESCRIPTION: Mr. Batista provided Structural Engineering consultation to the Broward Trust for <br /> Historic preservation in moving the Annie Beck historic house from Las Olas to <br /> ' Middle River Terrace park in Fort Lauderdale. This involved performing structural <br /> inspections and analysis to design and determine the best way to pick up and move a <br /> 100-year old house to another location 5 miles away in order to preserve it.
