Approach and Methodology • Locate all utilities and their respective structures within the project limits, including all water I mains, sewer mains, drainage systems, power conduits and overhead lines, telephone conduits and overhead lines, cable TV conduits and overhead lines, gas mains, concrete, poles, catch basins, valves and valve boxes, manholes, cleanouts. The City will provide I • JBA with plan views of all potential utilities along street R/W. Obtain invert elevations for existing storm water and/or existing inlets and catch basins, pipe size, type and condition. Where structures are determined to be inaccessible, JBA shall notify the City in writing. JBA will be notified once the structure has been made accessible. I . Obtain finish floor elevations. ▪ Locate and graphically depict trees over 6" in diameter within the R/W. IRoadway Cross Sections/Profiles: Obtain cross section elevations at 25-ft intervals along proposed R/W, elevations will be taken at: • Centerline of roadway Crown of the road I Edge of pavements • Top of shoulder/swale Bottom of shoulder/swale Bottom of the gutter pan • Top of Curb • Front of sidewalk Back of sidewalk • line • 10-feet outside of R/W line Longitudinal grade breaks • Any other grade breaks • Building face IStructural Engineering: • Provide structural plans and specifications for any given project. I • Provide structural calculations to satisfy the authorities having jurisdiction • Provide consultation services to the Building Department as needed including inspections and plan reviews as directed by the building official I • Provide inspections and associated reports • Use structural engineering modeling software as required by project. I MEP: • Provide mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans and specifications for any given project. These may include plans for fire alarm, fire sprinkler, generator design, low voltage design, I computer cabling and security. • Provide MEP calculations to satisfy the authorities having jurisdiction including to hydraulic calculations, energy and load calculations and electrical calculations. I . Provide consultation services for LEED implementation and energy efficiency strategies. • Provide consultation services to the Building Department as needed including inspections and plan reviews as directed by the building official.
