<br /> PINECREST GARDENS Pinecrest Gardens formerly the home of Parrot Jungle, is one of the best
<br /> 0
<br /> examples of South Florida gardens and ecology. Located on a oolitic limestone
<br /> ridge, through which a natural creek still flows, the flora is a showcase of our
<br /> 40 tropical hammock environment, and diversity of vegetation. Primarily a daytime
<br /> destination,the Village of Pinecrest sought to add lighting to the Gardens,to allow
<br /> for the planning of evening events.The challenge was to sensitively design site
<br /> 0 lighting to enhance the garden's vegetation and open spaces,without imposing on
<br /> the surrounding neighborhood residents.
