As a testament to our commitment to our clients, ORDA has been serving <br /> • as the Landscape Architectural Consultant to the City of Aventura since its inception in 1995 <br /> ® performing tasks such as site plan review, permit review and inspections, park design, street- <br /> scape design, irrigation design, maintenance specifications and schedules, landscape studies, <br /> • tree surveys, maintenance monitoring including analysis and evaluation of existing landscape <br /> • conditions and recommendations for improvements. <br /> • Most recently, ORDA provided landscape architecture services as part of the private-public <br /> • partnership between the City of Doral and the Codina Development Co. for 'Doral City Park' <br /> • located in the heart of downtown Doral's new city center. ORDA understands the importance <br /> • of preserving and creating community spaces and public realm areas as part of a municipality's <br /> efforts to create livable cities. ORDA recently provided landscape architecture services for the <br /> • Town of Golden Beach's green space network including conceptual design, design develop- <br /> • ment and construction documentation services for North Park, South Park and Singer Park that <br /> • provide opportunities for active and passive recreation, a 2-mile parcourse circuit and exten- <br /> sive landscaping. We have a long history of successfully completed projects in South Florida <br /> • and are sensitive to the unique environmental issues associated with this area. <br /> • <br /> Schedule of Proposed Services <br /> • A schedule of proposed services for a typical landscape architectural project for the City of <br /> • Sunny Isles Beach includes the initial task of site inventory and analysis, reviewing available <br /> • plans, surveys and documentation depicting existing conditions of the project site, reviewing <br /> local codes and ordinances, design standards and any other information related to the project. <br /> • The on-site analysis will include verification of utilities, obstructions, existing vegetation, op- <br /> • portunities, constraints, and any other pertinent elements not depicted on the available plans. <br /> • Following site inventory and analysis is the preparation of conceptual alternatives that depict <br /> the character and intent of the design. The Conceptual Design plans will include an analysis of <br /> • existing conditions such as scenic values, areas of emphasis, visibility, safety, cost and mainte- <br /> • nance considerations. A preliminary estimate of Probable Construction Cost at the conceptual <br /> • phase will help the City establish a construction budget if one has not already been estab- <br /> lished.
