As Prime Consultant they led a team of <br /> architects and engineers in the planning, design and construction administration of a 5-acre site with the <br /> ® following scope: canoe launch, paving and drainage, construction of three shelters, and (currently under <br /> ® construction) a restroom building. <br /> The site is located adjacent to the C-100 canal and Biscayne Bay at 17350 Old Cutler Road. It is also <br /> ® bordered by an environmentally sensitive tract of land owned by the State and managed by the County. Curtis <br /> + Rogers was required to balance a program of providing infrastructure (including utilities) and facilities <br /> appropriate to a park with environmental constraints related to protecting the managed areas as well as the <br /> ® Bay.
