The streetscape design included the addition of new <br /> • turn lanes in existing medians and public participation and facilitation, as well as new and supplemental landscape <br /> ® plantings and irrigation. <br /> ® Citywide Streetscapes and Construction Project, Tamarac, FL— Project manager responsible for the design <br /> of 19 miles of streetscape within the City limits of Tamarac. The streetscape design included the addition of new <br /> • turn lanes in existing medians and extensive public participation and facilitation, as well as new and supplemental <br /> • landscape plantings, irrigation, and decorative hardscape features. <br /> ® Hollywood Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA_ Pilot Project Streetscape Master Plan and <br /> 0 Construction Documents, Hollywood, FL—Served as project planner and manager. The project involved <br /> ® the application of the approved design guidelines to seven streets within the Beach CRA via detailed design <br /> and construction documents. The design program included a complete reconstruction of the right-of-way, <br /> • undergrounding of all utility connections, planting designs compatible with the beach environment, decorative <br /> • concrete pavers, and other pedestrian elements. <br /> ® Lauderdale Lakes Streetscape Master Plan, Lauderdale Lakes, FL—Served as project manager. The project <br /> included the development of an overall streetscape master plan for many of the City's major corridors and the <br /> ® application of design standards to residential streets. The project served as development guidelines for the public <br /> spaces and right-of-way within the City and also included guidelines for development of landscapes, gateway <br /> features, site amenities, parking regulations, and sign guidelines. The design package was approved and adopted <br /> • by the City Commission. <br /> • NE 38th Street Streetscapes, Oakland Park, FL—The master planning and design included taking the existing <br /> • two-lane roadway and implementing traffic calming solutions to discourage the heavy amount of cut-through traffic <br /> within the surrounding residential neighborhood. This process included meetings with homeowners, as well as <br /> • other permitting agencies. The design included the use of a traffic circle, as well as raised intersections at several <br /> • cross streets. In addition, the travel lanes were narrowed which, along with the use of new landscape, visually <br /> • narrowed the corridor to create a calmed residential street. <br /> • US 1 Streetscape Master Plan and Construction Documents, Dania Beach, FL—Served as project manager. <br /> • The project included the development of a planting design compatible with both of the City's vision for <br /> redevelopment in the downtown core and FDOT's planting regulations. The process included applying for, and <br /> • receiving, FDOT's Transportation Design for Livable Communities designation for the downtown area. <br /> • Forest Hill Boulevard Streetscape and Grant Application, Wellington, FL— Project manager for this project <br /> • consisting of new street landscaping along 1.5 miles of Forest Hill Boulevard. The project also included the <br /> • preparation of a grant application to Palm Beach County for a landscape grant. The application was approved and <br /> awarded to the Village. <br /> ® Military Trail Streetscapes, Palm Beach Gardens, FL—Served as project designer and manager. The project <br /> included landscape improvements to the several medians within the Military Trail right-of-way directly adjacent to <br /> • City Hall. The project was initiated to secure a Palm Beach County landscape grant.
