(I.D.) force main along Sunny Isles Boulevard and 2,600 linear feet of twin 48-inch diameter <br /> ® H.D.PE. (O.D.) force mains through the Oleta River State Recreation Area. The project required an aerial <br /> • crossing of the Oleta River, and extensive coordination with Florida DEP for the mitigation of impacted natural <br /> resources. <br /> ® Water Distribution and Sanitary Sewage Collection Improvements from NW 41st Street to NW 51st Street, <br /> between NW 35th Avenue and NW 36th Avenue, Miami-Dade Water and Sewer District (MDWASD), FL <br /> • Served as project manager for the design and installation of 7,000- linear feet of 12-inch diameter water <br /> 8 mains, 8,000- linear feet of 8-inch sewer mains and service connections in order to sustain present and <br /> ® future economic redevelopment within a 70- acre, mostly-industrial area of Miami-Dade County. Services <br /> included planning, hydraulic modeling, analysis and design, stakeholder coordination and public involvement, <br /> ® permitting, assistance during bid and award, and construction phase services. Many properties in the project <br /> • area are on private water wells and septic systems, and others are served the neighboring City of Hialeah. The <br /> 0 plans included a sequence to transfer those connections from Hialeah to Miami-Dade County without service <br /> interruptions. <br /> ® Environmental Permits for Repair of 54-inch Subaqueous Force Main, Miami Beach, FL—On behalf of the <br /> ® Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department, prepared and submitted "after-the-fact" permit packages to the <br /> ® Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Miami-Dade County DERM for the emergency repair <br /> ® of a subaqueous 54-inch force main damaged by a private contractor within the Miami Beach Marina. <br /> Responsibilities included gathering information pertaining to the repair methods, preparing exhibits, and <br /> Q submitting the packages within a short time frame. <br /> • Government Cut Force Main Phase I, Miami Beach, FL— Project manager on the Kimley-Horn team that <br /> • prepared a feasibility study to evaluate the opportunities and constraints of installing a 54-inch force main <br /> • under Government Cut. The study included a brief description of the project, including its purpose and need <br /> ® and agency jurisdictional control and coordination for permitting. It summarized the various construction <br /> methodologies and issues that would be involved in the design, permitting, and construction of these force <br /> l® mains and provided a ranking recommendation. <br /> ® SW 288th Street 24-inch Water Main, Homestead, FL—Served as project analyst responsible for analysis <br /> O and design of approximately 2,500 linear feet of 24-inch water main along SW 288th Street for the Miami- <br /> ® Dade Water and Sewer Department (MDWASD) to serve the Homestead Air Force Base. The project involved <br /> the design of a MDWASD venturi master metering station near SW 132nd Avenue. Responsibilities included <br /> ® administration of survey and permitting work, preparation of bid and contract documents, and constant <br /> • contact with MDWASD staff. <br /> ® Bayview Market, Miami, FL— Project engineer on the Kimley-Horn team responsible for preparing site- <br /> • civil construction documents for right-of-way vacations, utility relocations, utility upgrades and storm water <br /> ® management improvements necessary to support this urban redevelopment project. The project consists <br /> of the vertical stacking of several historically "big box" retail stores on multiple levels of the building, while <br /> • accommodating sufficient customer access and parking, as well as delivery truck access.
