Master planning challenges
include developing creative approaches to address existing overhead utilities along the corridor, as well as
® prioritization and phasing of improvements with respect to budget challenges. Similar to other community
® enhancement master plans, public involvement is a key element in the success of this project. We will
® coordinate closely with committees of community representatives to identify community assets and to solicit
their ideas and preferences for incorporation into the master plan.
AlA Corridor/Inlet Village Concept Master ----
® Plan, Jup iter FL— Kimle -Horn recent) worked _ - "-e
® with the Town of Jupiter CRA to develop conceptE '!. : &F ° Pjp
® designs for a bike/pedestrian/roadway corridor ,.^ + te r "
• through the Inlet Village district in the Town r =' P "f".t "
of Jupiter. A main focus of the - —
B plan was to create a pedestrian and bicycle PERSPECTIVE
® friendly corridor that meets both technical
® roadway design criteria and retains the character
of the Inlet Village. As a part of the planning effort, Kimley-Horn prepared site plans, vignettes, renderings,
® and improvement alternatives. These concepts were developed by meeting with Town staff, holding
® public meetings with resident stakeholders, and consulting with several permitting agencies to determine
® implementability of the plan. Kimley-Horn also developed an opinion of probable construction cost for the
project. The plan was ultimately presented to the CRA board and is now moving into subsequent planning and
® design stages.
® n w . .
