This section of Seacrest Boulevard is currently a five-lane roadway with two northbound and southbound lanes with a continuous center turning lane. The roadway is somewhat limited as • it relates to pedestrian features such as wide sidewalks and hardscape elements. There are no shade trees • along the corridor or other landscaping. The plans for this section of roadway include the design of a center landscaped median throughout the corridor. Additionally, we will be replacing the existing sidewalks along • the corridor with wider sidewalks and installing canopy trees to provide shade for the pedestrians. Additional • lighting improvements are also being considered.
