This section of Seacrest Boulevard is currently a five-lane roadway with two <br /> northbound and southbound lanes with a continuous center turning lane. The roadway is somewhat limited as <br /> • it relates to pedestrian features such as wide sidewalks and hardscape elements. There are no shade trees <br /> • along the corridor or other landscaping. The plans for this section of roadway include the design of a center <br /> landscaped median throughout the corridor. Additionally, we will be replacing the existing sidewalks along <br /> • the corridor with wider sidewalks and installing canopy trees to provide shade for the pedestrians. Additional <br /> • lighting improvements are also being considered. Upon the completion of the median and landscaping, the <br /> • entire roadway will be milled and resurfaced. <br /> • Lake Worth Beach Redevelopment, Lake Worth, FL—After helping formalize an interlocal agreement <br /> • (ILA) between Palm Beach County and the City of Lake Worth for funding improvements to the historic <br /> ® Lake Worth Beach and Casino site, KHA is now providing planning, permitting, site civil engineering , and <br /> landscape architecture services for the redevelopment of the site.
