This multi-use <br /> ® project includes lighted baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, a roller hockey rink, basketball and tennis courts, a tot lot, new <br /> ® concession facilities, and an expanded recreation building with a central drop-off court. A"promenade" links all the facilities together <br /> while preserving stands of existing mature Live Oaks. <br /> ® US World Soccer Park, Homestead, FL—Served as landscape architect for this former minor league baseball facility that has been <br /> ® vacant since Hurricane Andrew, the City of Homestead retained Kimley-Horn to develop an adaptive reuse plan. Working against <br /> a submission deadline to the U.S. Soccer Foundation, we developed a master plan for the U.S.World Soccer Park. The existing <br /> stadium was reconfigured to accommodate championship soccer and a soccer-themed master plan was developed to create public <br /> amenities as well as a world-class training facility. <br /> ® Town of Bay Harbor Islands Business District Revitalization, Bay Harbor Islands, FL—Involved with the design for two passive parks <br /> ® in the Town of Bay Harbor Islands.
