An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida,Amending <br /> Section 183-1 of the Code of Ordinances of Sunny Isles Beach, Entitled "Licenses and <br /> Permits" to Provide for a Permit for Beach Access Closure; Providing for Severability; <br /> Providing for Inclusion in the Code; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> (First Reading 11/19/15) <br /> Action: [City Clerk's Note: Heard with related Item 9E.] City Clerk Hines read the title, <br /> and Deputy City Manager Morris reported. <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Commissioner Aelion said based on the review meeting it was made clear to staff that the <br /> developers have to look not this as a permission for them to drop the money with a permit <br /> application and for them to request closure but to take into consideration the importance of <br /> the beach access being open at all times and to be able to make the effort to have these <br /> closures at night when the beach accesses are not being used. <br /> Commissioner Goldman moved and Commissioner Levin seconded a motion to approve <br /> the Ordinance on second reading.
