('CONSULTANT'), and City of Sunny <br /> Isles Beach ('CUENT' or °CITY') for professional services is submitted for your consideration and <br /> approval. CONSULTANT shall begin work within ten (10) days after receipt of a fully executed copy of this <br /> Agreement. <br /> I. PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT/PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The purpose of this Agreement is to outline the scope of services recommended by CONSULTANT and <br /> accepted by CLIENT and to establish the contractual conditions between CONSULTANT and CLIENT with <br /> respect to the proposed services. <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> The CITY has undertaken and completed a significant portion of undergrounding of their overhead utilities. <br /> What remains can be grouped into four areas; 1) Collins Avenue, 2) Sunny Isles Ocean Beach Boulevard, <br /> 3) Center Island, and 4) Golden Shores neighborhood. Because of a pending FDOT.Resurfacing, <br /> Restoration, and Rehabilitation (RRR) project anticipated to start in June 2015, undergrounding within Coffins <br /> Avenue has taken precedence over the Other areas.The CITY has the opportunity for an economic benefit as <br /> well as avoidance of additional aisruption to residents if the undergrounding of utilities.can be done in <br /> conjunction with tha FOOT RRR project.
