Russo, City Manager <br /> FROM: Elka Linton-Dorsett, Capital Projects Manager <br /> DATE: 2/18/2016 <br /> Resolution Approving the Fourth Amendment to the <br /> Agreement with Keith & Schnars, P.A for Professional <br /> RE' Services for the FPL Overhead to Underground <br /> Conversion Project <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Staff recommends approval of this resolution. <br /> REASONS: <br /> In February 2013, City Commission approved a contract with Keith & <br /> Schnars, PA for the initial assessment and data collection phase for the <br /> undergrounding of existing overhead utilities within the Collins Avenue <br /> corridor. Through a series of later Amendments approved by the <br /> Commission, the contract scope of services was expanded to include <br /> engineering services for the preparation of construction drawings and <br /> land surveying services for legal descriptions and sketches of required <br /> easements. <br /> Amendment 04, attached is for the provision of Construction <br /> Administration services during the construction process. These <br /> services shall be provided on an as needed basis, for a not to exceed <br /> amount of$298,700.00. <br /> The current contract value for Keith & Schnars, inclusive of all <br /> previously approved change orders is $805,820.00. With the approval <br /> of the proposed Amendment, the total contract value will be <br /> 209 <br />
