On the majority of days, the contractor will comply with the Sunny Isles Beach <br />Code of Ordinances, Chapter 193, Article III regarding Construction Noise, which <br />limits the days and hours of work as follows: <br /> <br />a. Standard time: 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:00 <br />a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday <br />b. Daylight savings time: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, <br />7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday <br />c. No construction activities shall take place on Sunday and on the following <br />holidays: New Year's Day; Fourth of July; Labor Day; Yom Kippur; <br />Thanksgiving Day; and, Christmas Day <br /> <br />2. As building construction can require some off-hour work, all night work, and <br />unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of the contractor, the contractor <br />will comply with the City’s process for the Request for Waiver of Chapter 193 of <br />the Code of the City of Sunny Isles Beach and notify all adjacent properties and <br />submit applications for extended construction hours (see form, below). Some <br />activities that will require extended construction hours include: <br />a. Utility upgrades and tie-ins under Collins Avenue and adjacent sidewalk <br />b. Heavy and/or large equipment and material delivery and removal <br />c. Foundation dewatering <br />d. 24-hour mat foundation concrete pour <br />e. Activities where the safety of the public would be better served during off- <br />hours work <br />f. Emergencies and other unforeseeable events <br /> <br />
