Varadero <br />Traffic Study <br /> <br />Page 13 <br />4.0 FUTURE TRAFFIC CONDITIONS <br /> <br />4.1 Background Traffic and Committed Developments <br /> <br />Historic Average Daily Traffic (ADT) counts published by FDOT were reviewed to determine <br />historic growth in the area. This analysis, provided in Appendix D, indicated that traffic has <br />generally grown at a 0.5% yearly growth rate in this area. <br /> <br />The Regalia, Atlantic 15, Porsche Design Tower, Turnberry Ocean Club, Publix, Dezer Office <br />Tower, Palazzo Di Aqualina, and Mansions at Acqualina have recently received city approval in <br />the general area of the project. Traffic associated with these projects was included as committed <br />and was estimated using trip generation rates and/or equations published by the Institute of <br />Transportation Engineers. A summary of the trips associated with these developments is provided <br />in Exhibit 5.
