City of Sunny Isles Beach <br /> 2016 10-Year \VSP GOPs <br /> First Reading January 21, 2016 <br /> Adoption: April 21, 2016 <br /> City of Sunny Isles Beach Water Supply Facilities Work Plan <br /> Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan <br /> Amendment No. 1 <br /> The following lists the Objectives and Policies included in the City's adopted <br /> Comprehensive Plan to ensure consistency between the elements in the Plan and the <br /> 2016 10-Year Water Supply Facilities Work Plan Update. <br /> The following revisions to this Element are recommended. Recommended additions are <br /> denoted by underline; deletions by ctrikethrough. Changes highlighted in yellow are <br /> based on agency comments after First Reading. <br /> Infrastructure Element <br /> Objective 5: The City of Sunny Isles Beach shall comply with must adopt by reference <br /> into its Comprehensive Plan its 2016 10-year Water Supply Facilities Work <br /> Plan Update (Work Plan Update) te-be adopted on July 16, 2009 April 21. <br /> 2016, as required by section 163.3177(6)(c), F.S. within 18 months after the <br /> governing board of the South Florida Water Management District approved <br /> its 2013 Lower East Coast Water Supply Plan Update on February 15, 2007 <br /> October 10, 2013. The Work Plan Update will be updated, at a minimum, <br /> every 5 years. The City's Work Plan Update is designed to: assess current <br /> and projected potable water demands; evaluate the sources and capacities <br /> of available water supplies; and, identify those water supply projects, using <br /> all available technologies, necessary to meet the City's water demands for <br /> a 10-year period. <br /> Policy 5A: The City of Sunny Isles Beach must comply with the City of North Miami <br /> Beach 10-Year Water Supply Facilities Work Plan Update, adopted Marsh <br /> 19, 2000 June 16, 2015 and incorporate such Work Plan Update by <br /> reference into the City of Sunny Isles Beach Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Policy 5B: Coordinate appropriate aspects of its Comprehensive Plan with the South <br /> Florida Water Management District's regional 2013 LEC Water Supply Plan <br /> Update adopted February 15, 2007 on October 10, 2013 and with the <br /> Miami-Dade County 20-Year Water Supply Facilities Work Plan (2014- <br /> 2033) adopted A^ci"�,,l-24-2000 on February 4, 2015. The City shall amend its <br /> Comprehensive Plan and Work Plan as required to provide consistency with <br /> the District and County plans. <br /> Monitoring Measure: The Work Plan Update shall remain consistent with the Miami- <br /> Dade County 20-Year Water Supply Facilities Work Plan Update and with <br /> 7 <br />
