The lagoon will be the showcase centerpiece amenity of the existing hotel <br />as well as future conference centers and additional hotels. Key elements include a large <br />island that will host a restaurant and nightly firework shows, sand beaches, boardwalks, boat <br />access, and other amenities. <br />DSK Crystal Lagoon, Pune, India — Served as the Director of Architecture and Design for <br />what is planned to be the first Crystal Lagoon in India. It will also be the first in the Crystal <br />Lagoons portfolio that will be a canal design used for water transportation only. The 14 acre <br />lagoon incorporates electric boats used to transport residences from their units to retail and <br />restaurant centers. Key elements include large fountain features, a first ever 4’ deep lagoon <br />that incorporates a colored liner. <br />Breathless All-inclusive Resort, Riviera Maya, Mexico — Served as the project manager <br />/ landscape architect responsible for design and coordination of AM Resorts flagship 526 <br />room young adult resort. Prepared conceptual plans through construction documents and <br />coordinated with outside disciplines and sub-consultants. Key elements included over 4000 <br />square meters of pools, over-water spa cabanas, pedestrian paths, vehicular circulation and <br />plazas, and other site amenities. This resort is currently under construction and is expected to <br />open in the fall of 2016. <br />Dreams Las Mareas Hotel, Guanacaste, Costa Rica — Served as the project manager <br />/ landscape architect responsible for design and coordination of AM Resorts first 447 room <br />All-inclusive Costa Rica hotel. Located on an expansive palm-studded beach and surrounded <br />by lush green mountains & jungles on Playa El Jobo in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica, <br />guests of all ages enjoy an action–packed vacation featuring watersports, land activities, <br />and swimming pools while sunbathing or laying under a thatched palapa. The team prepared <br />conceptual plans through construction documents and coordinated with outside disciplines <br />and sub-consultants. Key elements included over 4000 square meters of pools, swim-out <br />pools, pedestrian paths, vehicular circulation and plazas, and other site amenities. This resort <br />is currently operational as of November 2014. <br />Hyatt Andaz Hotel, Riviera Maya, Mexico — Served as the project manager / landscape <br />architect responsible for design and coordination of Hyatt’s second ever Andaz resort. <br />Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya, the latest addition to the Mayakoba Resort family, <br />will welcome chic, creative minds and boutique-hotel travelers to Mexico’s Riviera Maya <br />at the end of 2016. The hotel’s main attraction will be savoring the tradition of the Riviera <br />Maya region, focusing on serving local culture to guests with cheerful Mexican hospitality. <br />The resort’s inspired design, creative cuisine and uniquely-crafted hotel experiences are all <br />sourced from the neighboring area, aptly satisfying visitors’ thirst for exploration. The site 11 <br />hectares in size and will feature 213 alluring guestrooms with amazing views of the adjacent <br />cenotes, 18 hole Greg Norman golf course, and the Caribbean ocean. The team prepared <br />conceptual plans through construction documents and coordinated with outside disciplines <br />and sub-consultants.
