<br />Siesta Key Beach Park, Sarasota County, FL — Production designer aiding in the creation
<br />of multiple presentation graphics. While the project is in its early stages, future involvement
<br />will include LEED® coordination and construction document creation of planting and
<br />hardscape plans. Design components will include a beachfront esplanade to connect key park
<br />components, improved traffic circulation and parking; way finding and signage; bioswales,
<br />pervious pavement, and other sustainable design techniques.
<br />Capital Cascades Trail, Segments 3 and 4, Blueprint 2000, Tallahassee, FL — Serving
<br />as project landscape analyst. Kimley-Horn was selected to provide services relating to
<br />the design of this stormwater pollutant load and sediment abatement greenway, including
<br />effective community participation and consensus building; environmental evaluation,
<br />stormwater management, landscape, and park amenities that provide a unifying community
<br />concept; and greenway and trail connectivity improvements.
<br />The Skyhouse at Channelside (Tampa) (fka Channel District Tower), Tampa, FL
<br />Serving as project landscape analyst. The Skyhouse at Channelside is a mixed-use residential
<br />in-fill development within the Channelside District Community Redevelopment Area (CRA)
<br />east of Tampa’s urban core. The project is located mid-block between 11th and 12th streets,
<br />south of Washington Street and north of Whiting Street, and consists of 320 apartment units
<br />above a ground floor concierge, services, and retail footprint. The tower site development
<br />is complemented with an internal service court and separate parking garage housing 560
<br />parking stalls and artist studio space affronting the 11th Street corridor. The development
<br />will implement the newly developed District Streetscape Standards and provide a public
<br />art installation on the garage facades. The 23-story tower and five-story parking garage
<br />completes the block redevelopment within the surrounding residential, commercial, and
<br />open-space dog park. Kimley-Horn led the rezoning, site development, agency coordination,
<br />standards implementation, utility extensions, and stakeholder involvement as the local team
<br />member for the Atlanta-based development team.
<br />Elan Audubon Park, Orlando, FL — Serves as landscape analyst providing hardscape and
<br />irrigation design. The park is situated on 19.5 acres of the former Orlando Naval Training
<br />Center, which was closed in 1993. In addition to landscape architecture services, Kimley-Horn
<br />is providing site plan development, paving, grading, drainage, utility plans, permitting and
<br />construction plans.
