A part of this plan <br />included the streetscape design for Aventura Boulevard, <br />a main gateway into the Citfy. The landscape concept <br />included new custom street lighting, new custom street <br />furniture including bus shelters, benches, and trash re- <br />ceptacles; landscape lighting, xeriscape irrigation; illumi- <br />nated street signs and landscaping. The landscape pal- <br />ette included Majestic Date Palms and graceful Coconut <br />Palms in the median, with Live Oak trees shading the <br />pedestrian walkways in the swales.
