The overall design of the 32- <br />acre complex included soccer, <br />baseball, softball, tennis, and <br />concession stands as well as <br />retention ponds and parking. <br />The charrette portion of the project <br />was held over three days. The presentation involved a team of Landscape Architects from WGI and the City <br />representatives from the City Council, Planning and Zoning, Public Works, and Parks and Recreation. The <br />public was invited as well. The design charrette was very successful in determining the location and the size <br />of the recreation complex based upon the needs of the City. <br />WGI represented the final design before the Planning and Zoning division. <br />25.
