CGA designed the newly constructed off-site mitigation area, <br />conducted the construction oversight and long term compliance monitoring and maintenance oversight for the new <br />off-site mitigation area. CGA’s fees: $192,841. <br />d. <br />(1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) <br />Lloyd Estates Residential Improvements <br />Oakland Park, Florida <br />(2) YEAR COMPLETED <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />2013 <br />CONSTRUCTION (if applicable) <br />Ongoing <br />(3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE Check if project performed with current firm <br />CGA was retained by the City of Oakland Park to address flooding issues in an older residential neighborhood. The <br />project involves the installation of swales/exfiltration trenches, piping and other improvements within the upland <br />public right of ways. The project also involves the installation of two (2) new outfalls into the Sleepy River; dredging, a <br />new sluice gate and new sea walls in the river; the construction of a pump station and the creation of a bio-swale/river <br />overflow area within property adjacent to the river. CGA environmental staff conducted all site assessments for <br />permitting, designed the bio-swale stormwater overflow area, and processed permits through the U.S. COE, the <br />SFWMD and Broward County. Permitting challenges with this project included close coordination with the SFWMD <br />operations staff on project interactions with the C13 canal, also amending a sovereign s ubmerged lands lease for new <br />dredge areas. CGA’s fees: $520,000. <br />e. <br />(1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) <br />Royal Palm Park Lakes maintenance BMP’s <br />Oakland Park, Florida <br />(2) YEAR COMPLETED <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />2015 <br />CONSTRUCTION (if applicable) <br />N/A <br />(3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE Check if project performed with current firm <br />CGA was contracted by the City of Oakland Park to conduct an assessment of the current conditions of the lakes and <br />lake connection in Royal Palm Park, conduct research in lake management strategies, conduct public meetings to <br />gather input from surrounding and neighborhood properties, and produce a Lake Maintenance Best Management <br />Practices document for the City. CGA environmental staff began by performing an assessment of the two lakes in Royal <br />Palm Park (48 acres total) and the feeder canal on the north. Field visits were conducted to determine the type of <br />vegetation present and area coverage, width/presence of lake shelve s, shoreline conditions, and wildlife utilization. <br />Research was also conducted into past water quality and lake maintenance activities. Public meetings were then held <br />to gain additional input and information from the residents that live along the lakes. A fter gathering information from <br />site visits, research, and public meetings, a Best Management Practices report was written specifically for the lakes at <br />Royal Palm Park. The Public Works Department reviewed and provided comment on the final document, which then <br />went to the City Commission for approval. CGA’s fees: $7,500.00. <br /> <br />f. <br />(1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) <br />Pembroke Harbor <br />Pembroke Pines, FL <br />(2) YEAR COMPLETED <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />2006 <br />CONSTRUCTION (if applicable) <br />Ongoing <br />(3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE Check if project performed with current firm <br />This project is a 168-acre residential and commercial development project located in Pembroke Pines that required 35 <br />acres of on-site mitigation in addition to the purchase of mitigation bank credits. CGA environmental staff provided <br />final permit coordination and permit modification services; final design of the mitigation area and provided bidding <br />services for the installation and maintenance of the mitigation area. CGA provided mitigation construction oversight <br />and conducted the five year compliance monitoring for this project. CGA continues to have a post -compliance <br />management and oversight contract for this site.
