BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc. was responsible for conducting and performing the Construction Inspection Services (CIS) required to complete the planting and irrigation installation improvements scheduled for the Opa-Locka Executive Airport. CGA assigned dedicated resources, including Certified Arborists, Landscape Inspectors and Construction Administrators, as needed to ensure that all products and services delivered by the project’s contractor met the standards and specifications of the plans and of the Miami-Dade Aviation Department. Beyond, weekly site visits, site documentation, monthly utilization reports and on-site inspection services, the scope also included the commissioning of the close-out package from the contractor, together with the review of any release of lien, warrantee reviews, certifications from the contractor, and review of the Final Affidavit-Final Payment.
