1 <br /> KI PP: LASchool s <br /> I <br /> December 15, 2014 <br /> 1 <br /> ® To Whom It May Concern: <br /> American Guard Services ("AGS") has provided protection services to our <br /> schools that serve students in both south and east Los Angeles. The company's <br /> consistent presence at KIPP Empower Academy (located near the intersection of <br /> Manchester and Figueroa) has given both parents and staff, a strong sense of safety <br /> 1 and security at the school each day. The guards have become part of the KIPP family <br /> and help strengthen KIPP's culture by ensuring that students are safe in their <br /> educational environment. <br /> Additionally, there have been times when our campuses needed immediate <br /> protection services and AGS did not hesitate to respond immediately to our security <br /> 1 needs. For example, one of our middle schools had an issue dealing with a parent <br /> that was interrupting the educational process and issued a stay away order. AGS <br /> provided security to help us deal with the parent in the most amicable way possible. <br /> They were able to help mitigate conflict with the parent and provide safety for the <br /> administration and teachers. <br /> KIPP LA Schools depends upon AGS for our protection needs. They have <br /> always delivered on their ability to provide excellent safety and customer service for <br /> our schools, staff and students.
