APPLICATION No. 12 <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> MONITORING & EVALUATION PROCEDURES SECTION AMENDMENTS <br /> 1. Amend the Monitoring & Evaluations Procedures section as follows: <br /> It is anticipated that the City will develop and issue the required Evaluation and Appraisal <br /> Report Letter every seven (7) years. The written report will include but not be limited to <br /> Letter will identify amendments needed to address changes in State Statutory <br /> requirements, if any. In addition, the City may elect to prepare an Evaluation and <br /> Appraisal Report that might include, but not be limited to, the following: <br /> • Citizens participation in the planning process, <br /> these issues should be addressed in the Comprehensive Plan, <br /> • The need and/or requirements for updating baseline data in supporting <br /> documentation, <br /> • An update, if necessary, of short and long term objectives, <br /> • A report of accomplishments and progress made on the goals, objectives and <br /> policies based on the Monitoring Measures identified for each Element, and <br /> • Any unanticipated problems or obstacles that have detracted from progress, and <br /> • Reformulated or modified goals, objectives and policies contained in the <br /> Comprehensive Plan Recommendations for Plan amendments. <br /> This Evaluation and Appraisal Report does not have to be approved by the State, but <br /> may serve as the data and analysis for Comprehensive Plan amendments. <br /> A-41 <br />
