Russo, City Manager <br /> FROM: Derrick L.Arias, Chief Information Officer <br /> DATE: 5/19/2016 <br /> First Amendment to Safeware Agreement- Gateway Park <br /> RE' Access Control and Network Cabling <br /> RECOMMENDATION:' <br /> It is recommended that the City Commission approve the attached <br /> resolution amending the existing agreement with Safeware Inc, adopted <br /> June 19, 2015 by Resolution 2015-2425. <br /> REASONS: <br /> Additional work is required in the parking garage structure in order to <br /> interconnect Code Blue units and wireless network equipment.This <br /> amendment will provide the additional work to complete connectivity the <br /> City required in the parking garage structure. <br /> ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> The original Resolution, 2015-2425, was approved for a total not to <br /> exceed amount of $207,560.46. This amendment will increase the total <br /> amount by $26,327.85, bringing the total not to exceed amount to <br /> $233,888.31. <br /> FUNDING SOURCE: <br /> Funding is available in the Gateway Park CIP account # 300-6-5720- <br /> 465000-15001. <br /> 434 <br />
