RFQ No. 16‐06‐01 <br /> 10 <br />10C062016D – 631216982 <br /> <br />Anna Maria Island 2014 Annual Monitoring Topographic and <br />Hydrographic Surveys, Manatee County, Florida <br /> <br />Client: Manatee County, Florida <br />Start Date: 2014 <br />End Date: 2014 <br />Client Contact: Charlie Hunsicker, Director, Manatee <br />County Government, Parks & Natural Resources <br />Department, 5502 33rd Avenue Drive West, <br />Bradenton, Florida 34209, Telephone: 941‐742‐ <br />5923, Ext. 6001, Email: <br />charlie.hunsicker@mymanatee.org <br />Project Description: <br />CB&I was contracted by Manatee County to provide <br />annual survey services for the 2014 Anna Maria <br />Island Annual Monitoring Topographic and <br />Hydrographic Survey in compliance with Joint <br />Coastal Permit (JCP) Number 0281452‐001‐JC and <br />the post construction survey of Coquina Beach <br />Nourishment Project in compliance with Florida <br />Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) <br />Permit Modification Number 0281452‐005‐JN. CB&I <br />conducted the monitoring survey between Florida <br />Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) <br />monuments R‐1 through R‐7 and intermediate <br />monuments R36.5‐ R41+305. The U.S. Army Corps of <br />Engineers (USACE) collected data from Florida <br />Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) <br />monuments R‐8 through R‐41. Surveyors from CB&I <br />conducted the topographic and hydrographic survey <br />from 23 June 2014 to 26 June 2014. CB&I surveyors <br />conducted the Borrow Area and Longboat Pass Ebb <br />& Flood Shoal hydrographic surveys from 24 June <br />2014 to 26 June 2014. <br />The physical monitoring of the Anna Maria Island <br />included topographic and hydrographic surveys of <br />the beach and offshore areas. This data is required <br />for Manatee County and FDEP to continually <br />observe and assess beach conditions. CB&I used the <br />monitoring data to quantify the performance of the <br />nourishment project and prepare a permit required <br />engineering monitoring report. <br /> <br />
