RFQ No. 16‐06‐01 <br /> 42 <br />10C062016D – 631216982 <br /> <br />Scott Tillman <br />Survey Technician – Hydrographic Survey <br />Professional Qualifications <br />Scott Tillman is a Boat Captain and Survey Technician for CB&I. Mr. <br />Tillman has experience in many coastal and marine applications <br />including, offshore profile lines, nearshore profile lines, inlet <br />bathymetric survey, dive tender & radio operator, ADCP deployment <br />/retrieval, core collection, rod & level profile line survey, control recon <br />survey, upland profile line surveys, dune and vegetation mapping, <br />locate control points, checking and setting of control points, and sand <br />sampling and analysis. <br />Relevant Project Experience <br />Survey Technician, NE 16th Avenue Corridor Right of Way <br />Verification and Topographic Survey, Miami‐Dade County Public <br />Works and Waste Management Department, Miami‐Dade, Florida <br />Miami‐Dade County Public Works and Waste Management <br />Department contracted with CB&I to provide survey services for the <br />NE 16th Avenue Corridor Right of Way Verification and Topographic <br />Survey. The work included verification of the NE 16th Avenue Right of <br />Way as well as location of all improvements, overhead utilities, and <br />location, inverts, and material for storm and sanitary sewers. Under <br />the direct supervision of a Florida Registered Surveyor and Mapper, <br />Mr. Till was responsible for survey data acquisition using RTK and <br />Total Station system. <br />Survey Technician, Miami‐Dade Annual Beach Profile Survey, Miami‐ <br />Dade County, Miami‐Dade, Florida <br />CB&I, is a pre‐qualified survey and engineering firm with Miami‐Dade <br />County, has performed Beach Profile surveys on all of the County <br />Beaches since 2004. CB&I has performed the permit required survey <br />several times during our time under contract with the County. CB&I <br />utilizes state‐of‐the‐art survey technology to perform all tasks <br />including Real Time Kinematic Global Positioning Systems, dynamic <br />motion compensators, and highly accurate digital sounders to ensure <br />a top quality product for the County. CB&I has always performed the <br />tasks within the allotted schedule and within budget. CB&I recently <br />completed this survey again in April 2014. Surveys were conducted at <br />each Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) R‐ <br />monument (R‐1 to R‐113) located at approximately 1000 foot <br />intervals throughout the project area. Additional intermediate profiles <br />were surveyed from theoretical control points at the halfway point <br />(straight line distance) between major monuments. A total of 154 <br />profiles stations were surveyed.
