Des Moines Airport HDS Survey
City of Des Moines, Polk County, IA
Lead Surveyor responsible for using HDS laser scanning to collect point cloud information at a density of 0.2ft grid
or better along the project extents. Provided full topographic survey for over 15,000 LF of paved areas including
Runways and Taxiways for resurfacing design. Extracted data from the resulting point cloud information including
edges and centerline of all taxiway and runway connectors, pavement joints patterns, paint strip detail and visible
utility structure detail. Using this extracted information, produced deliverables consisting of Civil3D planemetric
features and accurate DTMs of all surface areas.

3D Modeling and Geodatabase Creation, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
City of Chamblee, DeKalb County, GA
Surveyor responsible for 3D modeling the HDS data cloud information for the overhead steam and chilled water
pipes and incorporating this information into an ArcGIS database for use by the CDC for future onsite
development and asset management. Utilizing Trimble data collection, collected, attributed, and drew connectivity
of all underground utilities in a real-time environment.

Task Order 1 - I-285 East to I-75 South Ramp Alignment
Clayton County, GA
Surveyor responsible for analysis and processing of HDS field data for over two miles of I-75 & I-285 and
managing the field portion of the survey, extracting 3D data of five lanes of highway and model seven bridges
along the highway corridor. The data was collected utilizing Leica Geosystems C-10 HDS laser scanner. By using
this technology was able to survey two high traffic throughways without invasive procedures, minimizing filed
traffic incursions and increasing the safety of its personal.

Task Order 02 - I-40 Eastbound Truck Climbing Lane
Smith County, TN
Surveyor responsible for analysis and processing of HDS field data for over three miles of I-40 Eastbound,
managing the field portion of the survey and completing all computations of the HDS data to create the as-built
surface of the highway and adjacent planemetric features. This project included topographic data collection, utility
location, right-of-way construction, and bridge detail location to design truck climbing lanes for one of
Tennessee’s busiest highways. Due to the congestion and safety concerns, implemented HDS scanning to
accurately gather topographic information safely and without hindering traffic flow or closing highway lanes.
LOR Page 24 of 52
