He has planned and conducted beach <br />profile surveys throughout the State of Florida for a variety of <br />purposes including contract payment, monitoring, and post- <br />hurricane assessments. These surveys have also required <br />topographic and geodetic control surveys for the land-based work. <br />Mr. Boehning has performed hydrographic surveys with advanced <br />equipment including the following: <br /> <br /> GPS Receivers (DGPS and RTK) <br /> Magnetometers <br /> Echo Sounders (fathometers) <br /> Heave/Pitch/Roll Sensors <br /> Electronic Tide Gauges <br /> Conventional Total Station and Levels <br /> Towed Underwater Video <br /> <br />Representative project experience <br />Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, Key West, Florida <br />CLIENT: DEP State Parks <br />Coastal engineering design and environmental permitting for <br />breakwaters, jetties and beach fill project for shoreline protection <br />at park. Performed beach profile surveys. <br />Hillsboro Inlet Bypassing, Broward County, Florida <br />CLIENT: Hillsboro Inlet District <br />Environmental permitting for ongoing maintenance dredging and <br />sand bypassing by the Hillsboro Inlet Maintenance and <br />Improvement District. Evaluated marine resources including <br />nearshore hardbottom in the exterior sand trap channel area and <br />seagrass in the interior inlet area adjacent to the navigation <br />channel. Processed permits and monitoring conditions through the <br />U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Florida Department of Environmental <br />Protection, and Broward County Environmental Protection and <br />Growth Management Department.
