C. Specific Project Experience <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The following projects show that Degrove has 11 years of experience in providing services in <br />accordance with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) “Monitoring <br />Standards for Beach Erosion Control Projects”. <br /> <br />Project Name: Survey #13-068 Topographic and Hydrographic Survey, <br />Bal Harbour, Miami-Dade <br />County <br /> <br />Client: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers <br />Client Contact: Robert Swilley, PSM <br />904 232-1704 <br />Robert.W.Swilley@usace.army.mil <br />Cost: $18,223.28 <br />Period: 5//2013 - 6/2013 <br />In preparation for planned beach nourishment we were <br />tasked with completing 11 beach profiles, 4 nearshore <br />profiles and an offshore borrow area which was just north of <br />Baker’s Haulover Inlet. The beach profile lines began at R‐27 <br />at the inlet and ran south to R‐33 and included intermediate <br />lines. Beach profile lines began approximately 150 feet landward when possible of the published or <br />physical location of the Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL) monument and extending easterly <br />approximately 3000 feet into the Atlantic Ocean. We utilized RTK GPS, A Motion Reference Unit <br />(MRU) to adjust for heave pitch and roll and Hypack hydrographic data collection and processing <br />software to complete the hydrographic survey. Due to the time constraints place upon us we <br />utilized two boats and associated equipment. The open boat was used for the surf zone while the <br />26’ Enclosed cabin boat was used offshore. The uplands were surveyed using a combination of RTK <br />GPS and robotic total station. <br /> <br />Project Name: Survey #13-073 Broward County Topographic and Hydrographic Survey <br />Cost – Period $33,824.52 - 5/2013-7/2013 <br /> <br />Client: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers <br />Client Contacts: Robert Swilley, PSM <br />904 232-1704 <br />Robert.W.Swilley@usace.army.mil <br />Broward County SPP Monitoring Surveys – Broward County, Florida – After beach nourishment had <br />been completed we were tasked with completing a topographic/hydrographic profiles survey <br />meeting the requirements of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) <br />“Monitoring Standards for Beach Erosion Control Projects”. The survey included of 62 lines, <br />beginning approximately 150 feet landward of the published or physical location of the Coastal <br />Construction Control Line (CCCL) monument and extending easterly approximately 3000 feet into <br />the Atlantic Ocean. We utilized RTK GPS, A Motion Reference Unit (MRU) to adjust for heave pitch <br />and roll and Hypack hydrographic data collection and processing software to complete the <br />Transiting Baker’s Haulover Inlet
