bowmanconsulting.com <br />Bowman Consulting (formerly Creech Engineers, Inc.) performed land surveying services in support of Indian River County’s effort to <br />add to and strengthen the existing published geodetic control in and around the County for surveying and GIS purposes. To accomplish <br />this task, the County requested professional surveying and mapping services to Blue Book two (2) Indian River County continuous oper- <br />ating Antenna Base Stations. The two (2) base stations were included within the Geodetic Control Densification Network were submitted <br />to the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) for inclusion into the National Spatial Reference System (NSRS). <br />To accomplish this task, Bowman Consulting included the two (2) existing Continuous Operating Base Stations within the proposed <br />2007 Geodetic Control Network to be submitted to the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) for Blue Booking purposes. Bowman took <br />digital pictures, prepared “Go To” descriptions, and submitted additional information provided by the County to NGS as a part of the <br />proposed 2007 Geodetic Control Network. The two (2) Continuous Operating Base Stations positions were published on the 2007 NGS <br />adjustment.
