PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Dellis Cay and Water Cay Hydrographic Surveys - Providenciales, Turks & Caicos <br />Olin Hydrographic was contracted to <br />perform Hydrographic Surveys of the <br />channels and shoreline surrounding these <br />exclusive developments. OHS staff <br />performed shore perpendicular transects <br />using its survey vessel along pre <br />determined profile lines that were then <br />matched with an upland RTK survey <br />performed on a different date. The data <br />was to be used to assess shoreline and <br />channel shoaling impacts from two recent <br />hurricanes. The contract specified that <br />the work be done according to the US <br />Army Corps of Engineers Hydrographic <br />Survey Manual. OHS utilized HYPACK <br />Hydrographic Navigation software and an <br />automated tide gauge and tied into a local <br />coordinate system for the work using Trimble RTK GPS. <br />www.OlinHydrographic.com <br />Consulting Engineering, Environmental, and Mapping Services <br />
