Tv1cKLV&CREED
Airborne Mapping Capabilities
cKim & Creed deploys a host of acquisition platforms and sensors
for airborne LiDAR and high-resolution aerial photography
using both RGB and infrared digital cameras. We routinely
deploy these system across the United States for a wide variety of
project applications, including route mapping, electric distribution and
transmission lines, aerial topographic surveys for roadways, forestry, and
snore. Paired with the firm's MoDaC Mobile Data Collection3, 3-D imaging
and static laser scanning systems, McKim & Creed has positioned itself on
the cutting edge of the geosnatics profession.
McKim & Creed's Bell 206 Long Range Helicopter (Source 1 ) is equipped with a
high-density Riegl 680i full waveform LiDAR system that can capture up to 266,000
measurements per second on the ground. The 680i has a high scan speed of up to
200 lines per second, and a 60' field of view. Source 1 also has a Trackair Midas
digital camera system with two nadir non -metric cameras (one RGB and one IR) for
ortho production.
This Bell 206 Long Range Helicopter (Source 2) is equipped with a Riegl VQ 480
realtime waveform LiDAR system that can capture up to 150,000 measurements
per second on the ground. Source 2 is equipped with a Visual Intelligence Iris One
Infrastructure Mapping System camera system. The iOneTM has two nadir cameras,
RGB and IR, that combine to make a 4 -band virtual frame, as well as forward and
rear facing obliques. Source 2 also has a weather probe to measure weather data as
it flies.
www.mckimcreed.com
