Page 3-7 <br />LPPL36016.16-O Sunny Isles Beach Landscape Architect Services.indd <br />THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />SERVICES <br />LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT <br />City of Miami Miscellaneous Landscape Architecture Services, City of Miami, FL – Kimley-Horn is <br />providing the City of Miami with landscape architecture services at various project sites throughout the City. <br />Services include the design of landscape architectural components including hardscape, landscape, site <br />furniture, site lighting and irrigation for different project types including parks, streetscapes, and other related <br />urban public realm areas from concept through construction. The contract is being funded through The City of <br />Miami Capital Improvements Program (CIP). <br />Regatta Park, City of Miami, FL – Regatta Park in the City of Miami is a new 15 acre <br />waterfront passive park that will transform the underutilized waterfront into a more <br />cohesive and vibrant public space that will help connect the general public to the <br />waterfront. The main features of the park include the Expo Lawn, Regatta Lawn, <br />Tropical Gardens, Promenade, Multi-use Path Connector, Tree Alee and Children’s <br />Play Area. Kimley Horn was tasked with the landscape architectural and civil <br />engineering design of the park from concept through construction administration. <br />This project is being performed under our City of Miami Miscellaneous Landscape <br />Architecture Services contract. <br />Coral Way Medians, Miami, FL — Kimley-Horn is providing conceptual plans and exhibits for the landscape <br />improvements within 2.5 miles of existing Coral Way medians between SW 12th Avenue and SW 37th Avenue. <br />Key to the design is the preservation of the existing historic Banyan Trees and the integration of proposed shrubs <br />and groundcovers around them in order to create an iconic look for this important roadway within Miami Dade <br />County. This project is being performed under our City of Miami Miscellaneous Landscape Architecture Services <br />contract. <br />Village of Palmetto Bay General Landscape Architectural Services, Village of Palmetto Bay, FL – <br />Kimley-Horn is providing the Village of Palmetto Bay with landscape architecture services, including the design <br />of landscape architectural components including hardscape, landscape, site furniture, site lighting and irrigation <br />for different project types including parks, streetscapes, and other related urban public realm areas from concept <br />through construction. <br />U.S.1 Medians Landscape Design, Village of Palmetto Bay, FL – Kimley-Horn provided landscape <br />architectural services to the Village of Palmetto Bay related to the redesign of the landscape and hardscape of <br />approximately 24 existing medians within 6 miles of the portion of U.S. 1 that bisects this municipality. Kimley- <br />Horn’s first task for this project was to assist the Village staff with the preparation of grant documents which <br />lead to the successful acquisition of funding from the Florida Department of Transportation. Once funding was <br />awarded, Kimley-Horn prepared conceptual plans followed by construction documents. <br />City of South Miami, South Miami Intermodal Transportation Plan, City of South Miami, FL – Kimley- <br />Horn is preparing the South Miami Intermodal Transportation Plan (SMITP). The City of South Miami desires to <br />enhance the existing transportation system and mobility choices available to residents, workers, and visitors to <br />the City.
