We <br />will draw upon the expertise of our staff to enhance the vibrant, diverse community that makes the City of Sunny <br />Isles Beach an engaging city for its residents, businesses, and visitors. <br />Solid Project Experience Combined with Local Knowledge — Balancing Function and Aesthetics. With <br />offices in Coral Gables and Miami, we are proud of our long history of service to the communities in Miami Dade <br />County through miscellaneous landscape architectural services contracts such as this one. Our staff is made <br />up of individuals who live and work in the area. We have focused our efforts on serving municipalities, such as <br />yours, on projects ranging from small landscaped medians to large regional community parks. Our commitment <br />to understanding our clients’ needs and providing well-designed, economical, and ecologically-sound solutions <br />has made us the landscape architecture consultant of choice for dozens of municipalities in Miami-Dade, Palm <br />Beach, and Broward counties. <br />Furthermore, while employed by a previous firm, I acquired direct knowledge and experience working with the <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach on the landscape architectural design of projects including Heritage Park and Parking <br />Garage, Pelican Community Park and Community Center, and Collins Avenue Beautification. In addition, Kimley- <br />Horn is currently working with the City as a sub consultant to Perkins + Will on the design of the new City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach Municipal Facility at 18080 Collins Avenue. <br />Expertise and Strong Commitment to Teamwork — Meeting Your Goals and Expectations. We have most recently been designated in <br />2015-2016 as a State of Florida and Miami-Dade County approved Professional Services Firm and our 2017 <br />renewals will soon be underway. With more than 25 years of local municipal landscape architecture experience, I <br />am ready to manage your projects and assignments under this contract out of our Coral Gables office. <br />We will strive to deliver not only technical excellence, but timely service and practical, money-saving solutions <br />and will serve as an attentive, readily-available team who will collaborate with you to define specific needs and <br />implement sound design solutions. In addition, the Kimley-Horn team is committed to the participation of M/ <br />WBE consultants. By teaming with M. G. Vera & Associates and Lisa H. Hammer, we are committed to <br />meet this your M/WBE goals while providing additional expertise to the City on a regular basis. From concept to <br />completion, the Kimley-Horn team is ready to provide a full range of services for landscape architectural projects <br />including plans review, landscape and hardscape design, tree disposition documents, cost estimating, and <br />construction management. <br />Our approach to serving you will include a strategy to prioritize and fast track projects in order to meet your <br />requirements. Each project approach will be developed with a sound competitive budget based on our <br />recommendation of the preferred alternative after analyzing different options, complemented with a realistic <br />schedule.
