Page 4-10 <br />LPPL36016.16-O Sunny Isles Beach Landscape Architect Services.indd <br />THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />SERVICES <br />LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT <br />George Puig, PLA – Project Manager/Landscape Architecture <br />With more than 25 years of professional practice in South Florida, George is a registered <br />landscape architect with experience on a number of both public and private sector projects <br />throughout the United States, Latin America, and abroad. George’s project knowledge has <br />been built by his critical involvement in master planning, urban design/streetscape, site <br />development, conceptual and final design for resorts, hotels, single family, multi-family, mixed <br />use, and entertainment/recreational facility projects. His responsibilities include management <br />of designers and planners, marketing, recruiting, team leadership, and project management, <br />as well as ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service. His past responsibilities <br />within another firm includes Director of Operations for the Miami Beach office (Legacy <br />EDAW), Director of the Urban Public Realm Practice Line for the East Region, and Co- <br />Director of the US Resort Practice Line. <br />Aaron Buchler, P.E. – Principal-in-Charge <br />Aaron has 20 years of experience in land development, utility systems, and drainage design. <br />He also has extensive experience with the entitlements, regulatory agencies, and permitting <br />processes in South Florida, including South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) <br />and Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) permits. Aaron has <br />served as principal-in-charge for more than 20 urban mixed-use projects within Miami, <br />many located on approximately two acres of land. Kimley-Horn’s work has typically included <br />detailed grading due to space constraints, drainage well design, and off-site improvements, <br />including roadway redesign, water and sewer extensions, and entitlements. <br />Jonathan Haigh, PLA – Quality Assurance/Quality Control - Landscape Architecture <br />Jonathan is a native of Palm Beach County and has 18 years of experience as a practicing <br />professional landscape architect. He is proficient in incorporating sustainable principles <br />in the design of Florida native plantings and water efficient irrigation systems. His project <br />management skills include public presentations, preparation of master plan documents and <br />graphics, cost estimating, and directing staff in the production of construction documents <br />and specifications His experience is strongest in applying a practical and budget- friendly, <br />yet creative design approach to each project. He has thoroughly embraced the application <br />of sustainable principles in project design and incorporating the design of Florida-friendly <br />landscapes and water-efficient irrigation systems. <br />Justin Rietema, PLA - Landscape Architecture <br />Justin has more than 10 years of professional experience working in various sectors of the <br />design and development industry. His range of experience includes critical involvement <br />in high end hotel, resort and amenity projects from concept design though construction <br />administration. His career includes extensive international experience. <br />Kimberlee A. Misek, ASLA –Senior Landscape Architecture Analyst <br />Kim has eight years of experience as a landscape architectural analyst. She is experienced <br />with landscape design, site planning, construction document preparation, and in preparing <br />presentation graphics — both digitally and by hand. She has provide landscape design for <br />numerous streetscape projects including Palmetto Park Road Improvements and Downtown <br />Boca Raton Pedestrian Promenade, 24th and 25th Streets in West Palm Beach, and Lincoln <br />Road Closure in Miami Beach to name a few.
