<br />Lloyd Estates Streetscape and Drainage Improvements, Oakland Park, FL — Analyst
<br />for the Kimley-Horn team that provided professional engineering services for the design
<br />and construction of the Lloyd Estates Residential and Industrial Area Drainage Project. The
<br />project involves phased drainage and water distribution system improvements consisting of
<br />the construction of a stormwater collection system with water quality treatment measures
<br />and possible upgraded outfalls, as well as replacement of select existing water mains within
<br />the project area. The professional services include surveying, stormwater analysis, civil and
<br />electrical engineering design, landscaping and irrigation, permitting, coordinating with utility
<br />providers for adjustments and or relocations, preparing quantity calculations, and engineer’s
<br />estimates of probable costs.
<br />Royal Palm Boulevard Improvements (Royal Palm Blvd. Bridge over Margate Canal),
<br />Margate, FL — Environmental analyst for this project that involved realignment of the
<br />roadway, east- and westbound left turn lanes, access management modifications, renovation
<br />of an existing bridge and medians, construction of pedestrian bridges, base enhancements,
<br />milling and resurfacing, providing new asphalt areas, swale improvements, drainage
<br />improvements, landscaping, irrigation, and lighting improvements. The work included design
<br />of a roadway bridge and two pedestrian bridges, roadway and turn lanes, drainage, signing
<br />and pavement markings, government agency approvals, coordinating with utility providers
<br />for adjustments and or relocations, preparing detailed quantity calculations and engineers
<br />estimates of probable costs, and providing resident project representation and incidental
<br />items.
<br />Oakland Park Environmental Services (Cherry Creek Environmental Assessment and
<br />Dredging & Sleepy River Dredging), Oakland Park, FL — Served as project analyst.
<br />Provided project management, environmental assessment, and permitting services for the
<br />City of Oakland Park. Environmental services included conducting an alternatives analysis
<br />and environmental assessment of Cherry Creek and Coral Lakes headwaters, permit support
<br />documentation to dredge portions of the water and preparation of associated mitigation plans,
<br />and support during the bidding process, as well as construction phase services during the
<br />duration of the contractor’s work to maintain permit compliance.
<br />I-75 (SR 93) from Hernando County Line to CR 470, FDOT District Five — Environmental
<br />analyst. Kimley-Horn is preparing plans and permits for the widening of 12 miles of I-75
<br />from north of the Hernando County line to south of CR 470 for FDOT District Five. The project
<br />includes widening in the median of I-75, and reconstruction of the SR 48 interchange and the
<br />northbound off ramp to SR 476B. The project also includes off-site drainage ponds and right-
<br />of-way acquisition.
<br />Mowry Drive Roadway Improvements, Homestead, FL — Served as project analyst for
<br />for the new construction and widening of Mowry Drive (SW 320th Street) from SW 157th
<br />Avenue to SW 152nd Avenue. The existing roadway consisted of a one-lane paved road and
<br />was proposed to be converted to a four-lane divided urban section with bike lanes on both
<br />sides. The project included design and preparation of roadway, drainage, signing and marking,
<br />lighting, water main extension, landscaping and irrigation plans. As part of the project,
<br />environmental and drainage permits were obtained from SFWMD, RER and USACE. The
<br />project also included preparation of bid documents and construction supervision.
