<br />Mr. Rothenberger assisted with the planning and exhibit creation for the preparation of the Bicycle / Pedestrian
<br />Greenways & Trails Master Plan. The Plan defines a system of sidewalks, bike lanes, paths, greenways and trails within
<br />the City of Sunrise that provides integrated and continuous corridors for non-motorized transportation and recreation
<br />throughout the city in a manner that is sensitive to the needs of various user groups.

<br />Mr. Rothenberger contributed to the design of recent renovations which included redesign of the entire pedestrian
<br />system including state-of-the-art fitness stations, distance markers and the widening of the path for a multi-purpose trail.
<br />In keeping with the City’s and CTA’s sustainability values, the multi-purpose trail was constructed using a material
<br />fabricated with recycled tires. This path is comfortable for the users with low impact to joints, pervious to allow water to
<br />recharge the aquifer and also eliminates an impact on the adjacent, mature tree canopy.

<br />Flamingo Park currently consists of athletic fields and a meeting hall. As part of the Parks Capital Improvement Program,
<br />the City of Sunrise added covered basketball courts, installed a rubberized multi-use path, relocated the tennis courts
<br />and constructed a new 4,200 sf meeting hall. Craven Thompson provided site plan design and illustrative renderings
<br />with character imagery. The provided graphics were utilized by the City to help pass the bond needed to provide
<br />funding for the renovations.

<br />the Open space Park management Plan, the design workshops, conceptual site design, Construction Documents and
<br />Construction Management for the City of Sunrise. Currently the project is under construction.
