The directive from the Village of Pinecrest <br />was to design streetscape enhancements in order to cre- <br />ate a more appealing destination through the introduc- <br />tion of attractive gateway features, a sustainable median <br />landscape design, decorative crosswalks, irrigation and <br />landscape lighting. The landscape palette includes native <br />pines that that are a symbol of the splendor and history <br />of the Village of Pinecrest, native shade trees, flowering <br />trees and shrubs.
